What We Do
Pauls Floors is a family-run carpet and flooring shop based in Flixton, South Manchester, run by Paul & Claire Southworth.
We cover (the floors of) Greater Manchester & Cheshire. So, from Sale to Hale, Chorlton to Cheadle, Altrincham to Ancoats, or Salford to Stretford (and many more) – we’ve got you covered. You can speak to Claire or Paul directly if you give us a call on 0161 747 8541.
Pauls Floors showroom is located just outside Urmston Town Centre at 414 Flixton Road, Flixton, M41 6QY – 5 minutes from junctions 8, 9 or 10 of the M60 and The Trafford Centre.
We’re open 5 days a week;
Please note – the shop will be closed on Friday 26th April from 1:30pm and all day on Saturday 27th April
Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri – 9:30am – 4:30pm, Sat – 10am – 3pm Late night Thursday available by appointment only. Please call the shop to arrange (by Tuesday evening please so that we can staff it!).
We’re closed on Sunday & Wednesday
As we’re a small family run business, these hours can be subject to change!! Please ring to check if you’re making a special journey. We’re very dog friendly and don’t mind you bringing your 4 legged friend in the shop with you, as long as he/she (and you!) behave themselves.
We don’t run flashy TV ads & we don’t employ any sales people. It’s just us, our expertise, our passion for flooring & our commitment to you; this means we can offer highly competitive prices on a really wide range of flooring.

We supply & fit: carpets (Brintons, Brockway, Ulster, Hugh Mackay, Crucial Trading, Telenzo, Fibre Flooring, Unnatural Flooring, Kersaint Cobb, Adam, Cormar) vinyls (including luxury vinyl tile design flooring such as Karndean, Luvanto, Polyflor & Harvey Maria), and laminate floors. All of our floor fittings are overseen by Paul himself, (he has over 30 years experience in fitting floor coverings).
Equally, we know that you may have a tried and trusted carpet fitter, joiner, floor layer that you’ve always used & aren’t prepared to swap from. Fair enough – we’re more than happy for you to come in to us, browse our samples & order your flooring for your own fitter to install. Call in and see us, we make a lovely cup of coffee!
New to the website for 2024 is our visualiser, Roomvo, which allows you to see our flooring in your space. Simply upload a photo of your room then swipe to see different floors magically appear in that very space! We’d still advise coming in and seeing the products in person but it’s a great starting point, try that wild card you’ve got in the back of your mind – who knew ocelot print carpet would suit that room so well?

We work with some of the best manufacturers in the flooring industry.
